Update.

As per usual I begin my blog post with the disbelief of how long it's been since I updated this. I have been very busy so I can forgive myself.

I recently shot a music video for Leeds based rock n rollers Dear Atria. An ambitious video shot in the middle of a field. We were taunted by the weather but managed to shoot a great video. This will be up in the next few weeks.

I also began work on a promo film for York based art gallery According to Mcgee.

This will be finished next month when I film an event at the gallery.

I also went away to Florida with the family to enjoy a few weeks in the Sun. With my camera always by my side of course I made a little film to document the trip.

I have also been working with a homeless charity in York called Arc Light. Digifish.tv asked me to go over there and work with the residents to create films about anything they wanted.
The residents were a joy to work with, all of them with great ideas and a passion for the project.
I made a stop frame animation with one group, a lord of the rings spoof with another and a Zombie, 80s style horror spoof with the third.

The residents wrote, directed and starred in all the films.

Digifish.tv the production company I work for has also been keeping me busy. We have been making films for Leeds museum about people who carried the Olympic torch as well as promo films for the museum.

Chinon 872 8mm Camera

The weather is nice again and that means the car boot sales are back up and running. My first car boot of 2013 and I got this little beauty for £3. The Chinon 872 8mm Cine Camera with an Electric Zoom and light meter.

It is one the sexiest things I have ever seen. I fell in love with it when you press the button for slow motion and you can hear the film winder spinning at double speed!

I will report back once I run a film through it.

Update

It's been ages since i updated my Blog, i would love to say its been because I'v been super busy filming and taking photos, but I'v had the odd day of just been sat around in my pants where I could have got on the laptop and spread the word of Ollie.

However today I am feeling pro active and thus this post is born.

I went on Tour with Shed Seven in December as photographer and film maker. This is a tour highlights video I put together for the band.

Below are some photos I took for Rick Witter of Shed Seven for his upcoming solo project. I tried some experimental techniques with some of the photos by setting the negatives on fire and scarping them on the floor and re scanning them.

I shot my first 8mm roll of film recently and below are the results. The film was bought from and developed by Blue Tech Cine, it took them 2 months for them to send the film back which is really slow but there cheap and the developing is very good.

I will have more to follow very soon, I have two music videos (possibly a third through www.digifish.tv) to shoot and hopefully a fashion film I have an idea for will happen. Also my short Death Chair is still in post and i am on with Music, FX, and edit for that but should be done soon.

Very busy month,

It's been a very hectic month, Digifish.tv sent me to Paris to shoot EA Games week. We were shooting for Playstation, lots of geeks, gamers and more geeks.

This was our very brilliant translator.

I also shot some stills for an Urban Outfitters student night....

Myself, Jonny Eveson and Ben Walden began shooting our new short horror flick. Death Chair. We are aiming to have this tale of a psychopathic pastor out before xmas.

I also had a photo shoot with Roxanna Clarke.
